WSU Libraries Reduce Hours, Animal Health Library Space Starting Aug. 20

WSU Libraries are implementing changes to Holland and Terrell regular operating hours and Animal Health Library’s physical location effective Sunday, Aug. 20.

“As you know, WSU is facing some budget challenges. In order to maintain services and resources that are heavily used, the libraries are reducing services less frequently used,” said Jay Starratt, dean of libraries.

Holland and Terrell Libraries will reduce their building hours from 24/5 to the following schedule, beginning Sunday, Aug. 20:

  • Sunday: 10 a.m.-11:45 p.m.
  • Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-11:45 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m.-7:45 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-7:45 p.m.

In addition, the Animal Health Library’s Wegner Hall location will be converted into study space for College of Veterinary Medicine students. Animal Health Librarian Suzanne Fricke will stay in Wegner, but the AHL circulation staff will move to Holland and Terrell Libraries’ Access Services.

For more information about the changes, please contact Beth Blakesley, associate dean of libraries.
