For some visitors, the main attraction in Sandpoint is the home of Coldwater Creek at 334 North First Avenue, a store--built on an old railroad bridge--which features women's clothing and other items, plus a cafe where non-shoppers can linger. The store's catalogue circulates nationally, but you'll find items here that aren't in it.
This is the end of the Coeur d'Alene / Pend Oreille tour. If you have to drive back to Pullman after sunset, it's better to go through Spokane. The Coeur d'Alene-Moscow stretch is no fun in the dark.
