The building in back of the Performing Arts Center is the fine little Historical Museum partly housed in an old schoolhouse, well worth a visit. Left, equipment from the old creosote treatment plant on Creosote Point, making a fun tunnel for kids to scramble through.

The museum can also be approached by turning west off Winslow Way on Erickson—an easy route for people walking off the ferry.
