Just steps from the ferry dock, in the middle of Winslow, the city preserves a spot of wild growth in this little ravine. Islanders love trees. Outside of Winslow, you can go for miles along back roads and spot only a minority of the houses that are often tucked in among the forest that covers much of the island.
