Coman Hall was built in 1958. It was named for Edwin T. Coman, former Spokane banker and member of the Board of Regents. It was planned as a women's residence.

The records of Coman Hall, 1964-1975, consist of minutes, hall handbooks (Coman Consensus), hall newspapers (Coman Crier) and correspondence. The minutes are arranged chronologically and include both house meetings and the meetings of the House Council.

Acquisition Information

The records of Coman Hall were transferred to Washington State University Libraries prior to 1970 (WSU 168).
