Library spaces will be closed to students and faculty throughout the Summer Session (May 10 – Aug 22, 2021). Both the CUE and the Spark are open to WSU community members who are on campus to study.
Checking out Materials
Digital Emergency Access Services
In order to provide swift access to our resources, we are participating in HathiTrust’s Emergency Temporary Access Services. A significant percentage of our physical books are available via HathiTrust’s ETAS and will be available digitally in Search It to WSU Students and employees until the Libraries re-open.

Contactless Pickup in Pullman
For most items available at WSU and through Summit, visit libraries.wsu.edu and click “Request” on a specific item in Search It. For fast, contactless pickup, choose “Pullman Locker Pickup” as the pickup location. When materials are ready you will receive an email providing a locker number and combination. The lockers are located in the Terrell Library Garage Elevator Lobby off of the Terrell Mall. Materials will be held in the locker for 7 days and will be available 24/7. This service is available to WSU students, faculty, staff, as well as community members.
U.S. Mail Delivery
WSU affiliates can select “Pullman Home Delivery” as the pickup location. We will mail your material to your home address within the U.S. (and include a USPS postage paid return label for returns). Please be sure your address is updated in MyWSU.
Both above delivery options available for Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad). On-campus office delivery will not be available in Fall 2020.

Autorenewals are in place for most material, at least through Fall 2020.
Returns can be made in the outside book returns at Holland & Terrell, Owen or the Animal Health Libraries. Summit materials may also be returned directly to a Summit Library (call ahead to confirm they are accepting returns). Contact us at email@example.com if you have questions or would like a postage-paid return address label to return library material by mail.
All returned material will be quarantined for 72–96 hours before being checked in.
