24/7 Live Chat
WSU Librarians are online Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm, except breaks and holidays. All other times, your chat will be answered by a librarian from another academic library. If you do not need immediate assistance and would rather speak with a WSU librarian, please fill out the Your Question form or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond by the next business day.
Drop-in Research Help
Want to know how to locate a book or article, choose keywords, or narrow your topic? Holland/Terrell Libraries has drop-in research help Monday-Thursday from 9-6 and Friday from 9-4. Student assistants are available during these times, and librarians are available 11-3. No appointment is needed! The desk is located through the glass doors across from the library entrance.
Arrange an individual session with a librarian to get help with your project or paper. The appointment could include: developing a topic and keywords, searching for scholarly and popular sources, and building citations. Click on the link below to select a librarian and schedule a time. Appointments may be held either in person or virtually, depending on your preference. This service is available to all students, staff, and faculty.
Librarians have created research guides in a variety of subject areas. These guides include research tips, suggested databases and books, the contact information of librarian experts in these areas, and more. Find them here: Research Guides
