C. James Quann, former WSU registrar, initiated a series of oral interviews concerning Washington State University alumni who had served in the United States military. The subjects of his research are both living and deceased veterans. Quann currently (2001) holds the title of WSU Registrar Emeritus and Coordinator of Veterans' Research.
